John Young

John Young, Executive Director of Markraft’s Charlotte branch, brings 35 years of cabinetry industry expertise, specializing in kitchen and bath design and project management. Since starting his career in 1989, John has remained dedicated to high-quality service, overseeing Markraft’s Charlotte team with a focus on on-time delivery, field support, and a customer-centric approach. Known for his motivational leadership, John encourages his team to excel daily, ensuring every project meets Markraft’s high standards.

Originally from Reston, VA, John has called Charlotte home for over 30 years. A volunteer with Room in the Inn and Roof Above, he values community involvement. Outside work, John enjoys music, playing guitar and banjo, and competes on a USTA tennis team. Married for 30 years with three grown children, he is passionate about nurturing his team and fostering strong builder relationships, making Markraft a reliable partner in the cabinetry field.
